Initial research for 'vitro regeneration biref' brief with Matt Chat, saw these music videos for the new XX album 'coexist' the other day and thought the concept behind them where really cool. They are microscopic close up videos of particles on water, which forms these really strange abstract patterns on the water, then the song is played through the water and recorded so these patterns and shapes react to the beat of the music. The concept behind this is really clever and looks awesome;
This sort of imagery would work perfectly for this brief, what we plan to do is utilize Matts contacts, with his dad being a scientist, to create all the imagery to use for the design work using experimentations.
Just need to find concepts and guidance for relevant experiments that could conjure up really interesting imagery.
